2019 Laurelwood Blend Pinot Noir
Grown on unique laurelwood soil– deposited at the end of the last ice age on the east facing slopes of the Chehalem Mountains in the north Willamette Valley– this 2019 Pinot Noir consists of grapes farmed on our estate at 400 feet elevation and neighboring vineyards on our hillside up to about 750 feet. A cherry nose is darkened by aromas of baking spice, peppercorns, and dust. Soft tannins and balanced acidity highlight the mouth filling dark red fruit of cherries and berries.
